The amount of energy that we burn each day (known as total daily energy expenditure or TDEE) is different for everyone. Your total energy expenditure is the amount of energy you use every day to fuel all of the essential body functions (like breathing, digesting, growing), to move around doing your day-to-day tasks and to do exercise.
The BARE Lean on-boarding process takes into account your individual details to determine your total energy expenditure by applying a 'moderately active' activity level. From there we apply a weight loss factor, which creates an energy deficit. The activity factor for moderate activity accounts for at least 30 minutes of exercise 5 days per week (the BARE Lean workouts are there to support you to achieve this).
